Awesome, fairly wild beach . Great for birding and watersports , especially light wind summer kiting. Great kiting community here every day there’s wind.
Great for 13-17m kiteboarding. Flat shallow water
make sure you walk down to the north side to see the sea otters
As of May 2013, the ferry is closed until July.
Don't try to walk around the whole Island
Not much room at high tide
Make sure to pack plenty of sunscreen . The glare off the water is vicious.
The ugliest beach I've ever seen. You have to go through 1000 feet of mud before reaching a shallow water . No shadows on the island and 3 hours wait for the ferry back.
Can be windy here...bring a jacket :-)

This is an amazing getaway! Make sure to get there in time for the ferry or you may be stuck waiting for the next available one... Lots of sand volleyball courts !
A must visit, get here early for the ferry !
