The "Head of Steam" is one of the UK's best railway station pubs . An excellent place to commence any weekend adventure on the TransPennine Express (http://sn1p.at/transpennine) !
Excellent, cosy pub for a drink while you wait for your train !
Of the two pubs at Huddersfield station , this is my favourite due to the wider selection of ciders . There's usually some interesting guest ciders to try.
The more popular, yet inferior in my opinion, of the two pubs within Huddersfield station . Several cask ales (of varying quality) are served within the confines of the old waiting rooms.
Excellent cask ales , rotating stock. Dark Mild from Derwent was awesome on 27th May 2013
Catch a train from Leeds to Stoneybridge, stopping at the pubs on each station - including the Head of Steam. Great beer at Leeds, Dewdbury, Huddersfield and Stoneybridge, all on one line !
A good range of quality real and craft ales .
The Bacon sandwitch on white is a great lunchtime pick me up. As is talking with the lovely Stephi <3
Try the draft Kriek lambic (Mort Subite)... #CAMRA #REALALE
Steamer is a great pint... When it's on.
Now serving Krombacher on tap !
Beer,cider and food.
The steak pie is a must! Enjoy!
Staff are lovely, and there is a great range of beer and cider .
Real ale heaven!
Great cocktails. Good beer. Cool music. Original decor. Gets a bit crowded at peak times. - Peter Berry
Excellent pub food, probably the best in town. Plus a great set of friendly staff and really nice indy alternative atmosphere. - Paul Thornton
red stirpe and chuff. good times to be had here. - Adam Dickens
Great ales! Goes without saying. Also, a great variety of fantastic bottled beers! - Brad Baddams
Great range of beers at well under the price of town centre pubs plus sausage, beans and chips for £4.20!! Very tasty. Excellent service too. - Simon Ramsden
