Schnitzel is great and enormous - enough for two. No choice of beer , just vast variety of wines . Our waiter was great but another waiter dropped a desert on top of one of us which ruined the evening.

Try Schnitzel with potato salat it is so delicious and don't forget drinking sekt:)

Historic restaurant for German fare . The Kartoffeln Suppe was excellent. Expensive but I guess this is a tourist destination? Vibes were off in the back section with Greek music playing.

Fast friendly service , cozy table with window view , excellent meal. I had souerbraten (kraut , potato , beef ), him a salad & potato soup with Vienna sausage . Great experience!

Don't leave without trying the delicious schnitzel here. Their apfel strudel is also tasty. The service is fast and the prices are medium for a nice meal

Great place to watch people at the Gendarmenmarkt - delicious wine and food. If it's busy, it's worth the wait!

Great wine bar with an overwhelming wine menu . Prices are a bit high, but it does worth. A very old and famous place. Service could be slow on a busy day.

Good choice of German wine , German style food, but certainly more sophisticated than "Wurst and Pommes". Duck and beef recommended.

Amazing Schnitzel with red wine (try the Austrian one)

I had made a reservation for drinks and upon arriving was told that for drinks only we need to sit outside at 5 degrees Celsius in February. I left!

Would definitely recommend the classics here - Veal Goulasch and the Sauerbraten . Both amazing.

Sauerbraten was great as expected but also Spargel soup and Spargel have been delicious

Cooking from various regions of the German speaking world, slightly leaning towards Austria. Very good wines , many Obstler (eau de vie), friendly service and nice atmosphere.

Shinitzel is the most famous meal of the place.But it was smell like fishwhen we said,may be your chef was mistaken he was use the same oil for fish and shinitzel he said no.The bestthing was the wine

Not sure about this place. Food is good, but sassy service and high prices (for Berlin) demand even higher quality food. Also: very bright lighting. However, not to be missed - the Kaiserschmarrn.

Ok place but expensive . We had giant schnitzel in here. It was great but only derved together with maybe seven potatoes . That is not a lot. Secondly, a bottle of water is a staggering 8 euro.

Overrated. Good food excellent wine list snobbish waiter . If you are to pay 90+ euros for 2 persons eating snichzels and the likes then this is the place for you, else avoid.
