Great visit. Tram tour is worth the $22 for a 2 hour ride in which the tour guide gives a lot of good info. Bug spray in the afternoon is a must. Bring H20 or at least a bottle to fill at restrooms .
Def opt for the 15mi bike ride to see animals, enjoy at your own pace! We started on the straight side following the river for best gator , fish , turtle sighting.Tower view is magical w tons of birds.
Have to definitely bring or rent bikes ... It is a gorgeous ride, the 15 miles are worth it... Bring loots of water and admire nature every step of the way!!!
We did the two hour trolley tour starting at the Shark Valley Visitor Center. The guides were great and we saw lots of wildlife including huge alligators .
Nice bike trip . Saw several alligators in the road , a crocodile , a big turtle in the water, plenty of big birds, and a vision of a puma deep inside the woods. Very enjoyable
Fantastic nature. Bring your own bike if you want to enjoy the park fully without time constraints. And don't forget that mosquito spray. Else, you will be the target practice.
Forever one of my fave places in south Florida. Take the 2 hr tram tour . The guides are very knowledgable and always entertaining.
Biking against 20mph winds can be treacherous! If you're going at night, a flashlight is handy to spot gators from the tower. Bring mosquito repellent just in case
Rent a bike ! They were $8.50/hour an totally worth it if you're traveling out of town and didn't bring your own. Oh, and bring lots of water!!
This place is awesome for bird watching , spotting gators , and flat surface biking . Go in the morning before it's too hot and crowded
They say the best time to go is between December - April. Was just there and can confirm December is good! Lots of large and baby alligators everywhere!! 15 miles all the way around, bring water!!
Don't Miss: Take a tram ride through the park , where you may run into alligators , many varieties of birds, and possibly even see a white-tailed deer or two.
Great ~15 mile bike ride through the Everglades, lots of birds, alligators , snakes, and other wildlife .
It's nesting season so don't get to close to the gators & oh yeah bring plenty of mosquito repellant trust me you'll need it.
Good place to find wild animal
Go back in at dusk after the parking lot has closed. Parking on side. Sooo much more to see
Definitely take the wind into consideration when planning your bike trip . Nothing is worse than biking into the wind and peddling twice as hard.
Great place to run or bike . But use bug spray.
Use bug spray if you go this time of year. So many Mosquitos.
17 miles biking . Bring lots of water and snacks . Go in early spring to see all the baby gators .
no better place to take your bicycle! don't forget the sunscreen .
Great place for pics
Great for biking .
Great morning bike ride
Don't go on a windy day--biking is much tougher
Les alligators sur le bord de la route ? Drôle, stressant, excitant ! Le tour complet à vélo est sportif ;)
