It is a Grade II listed building. It was once a residence of the local nobles, the Earls of Plymouth. The building has lost almost all of its grounds and is now a winebar and gastropub, known as the Barnt Green Inn.

Recommended: What a perfect menu - modern British favourites comfortably woven with the finest Mediterranean cuisine . Try the fillet steak garni with jenga chips and béarnaise sauce , it's gorgeous! Read more

Lovely food
Less kids bit quieter !
Decent draughts on tap ; Staro, erdinger, Peroni ... Nice selection of bottles too
Poor food which is only surpassed by the even worse service. Not a place I could ever recommend.
expensive and at times very slow service, but food always nice.
We love the peacock, plenty of tables friendly staff! All meals are perfect! - aimee vaughan
Terrific variety that changes on a regular basis, all dishes 2 for 1. Highly recommend the variety of steak combo dishes and the Aztec pie. - Carl
