Ru San's Japanese Sushi & Cuisine

Love the atmosphere and the sushi chefs , they make you feel good by giving you a hearty welcome when you come in. Almost like an Asian diner...they have a little bit of everything!

Some of the best sushi in Charlotte ! All sushi rolls are amazing and reasonably priced...Usually have great draft beer selections and half-priced bottles of wine on Wednesdays!

All you can eat sushi buffet for $11.75, you can't lose. They also have other items, but lots of sushi to choose from. Only down side is they don't label the sushi , so you have to be a bit adventurous

Amazing sushi lunch buffet ! If you think you might need a high chair , tell them before you're seated. We were told we weren't allowed to have one at our table after we were seated and had our food.

During lunch get a table near the back by the window. You can see when they bring out the fresh new sushi rolls for the buffet . Don't eat too much the 1st round because they bring out different rolls!

Tuna sashimi was delicious! Also loved the new moon maki and the exotic maki . Our server was fabulous as well ! I would definitely come back if I'm in the area

Ru San's is my fave sushi place in the hood. Hawaiian Ahi Poki or California Sunset = delice! The sushi chef is amazing and the staff is friendly with the exception of Grace. Overall, LOVE this place!

Everything. This place has the best sushi/Japanese cuisine in the area. The service is never bad, even when they are super busy. Try a Saketini too, unless you don't drink ;)

Sushi is excellent. Decent beer selection and cool atmosphere. Be prepared to wait....sushi lunch buffet is the best around for the money!

The buffet keeps me coming back. Make sure to get there at 11:30, to have a place to sit.

HIGHLY recommend their sakitini drinks (only $5), shrimp gyoza for an app, and the Westwood sushi roll !

Great quality sushi for the price can be hit or miss somtimes though. Ask ab the nigiri not on the menu

Grace is actually the best server at Ru San's... Only bitter and mean people write untrue things about people in public places. If you have Grace as your server it will be the best meal you ever had!

It was great! I had more than enough food and it was not pricey !(scored big points with me) Also I tried fried sushi on someone else's plate it was AMAZING!!

Sushi in a strip mall sounds like a bad idea but it was amazing! Cheap and delicious. Huge menu with lots of options.

Check out their all you can eat lunch - they seem to turn over the sushi pretty fast so it stays fresh, but it gets very busy.

Ru Sans is not a fancy place , but the sushi , sashimi and food in general is quite good. Highly recommended

Sushi buffet runs from 11-2:30 everyday but Sundays and still one of the best deals for sushi in Charlotte

The Cowboy Maki roll is to die for! I try to try new things but i get it every time.

Great food and atmosphere, but can get crowded and loud ! Definitely plan on an early dinner to avoid the worst of it.

The beef negamaki is fantastic. It's not listed on the menu - just ask for it!

Lunch buffet all the way! Go late (after 1PM) to avoid crowds.

Super cheap , fast, delicious. Careful, though - make sure whatever you order is over $5 if you plan on using card instead of cash.

The rolls were way bigger than what I'm use too. Great for their prices but should come with a warning.

Ru San's is amazingly cheap great sushi . Try anything off the veggie menu , it won't disappoint. Beware of the lunch rush, though.

Sit on the patio while it's still nice out and kill the lunch buffet . Remember to not show up from 2:30-4:30 Monday-Saturday...they're closed. Tempura mozz roll rules.
