Château de Chillon

Right on the shore of Lake Geneva in Montreux. Beautiful architecture and picture perfect setting. The blue water of the lake in the backdrop makes for a great photograph .

Chillon Castle or Château de Chillon is an architectural jewel located in the most beautiful setting imaginable - on the shores of Lake Geneva , right at the foot of Switzerland 's Alps! Bring a camera !

Make sure that you spend at least a couple of hours exploring the chateau! Also, take a postcard-isque photograph of the castle with the mountains in the backdrop if you walk right to the castle .

REally awesome castle with great history - well preserved space - lots of access and self guided tour is great.

The castle is beautiful and the views are scenic . However, it does get very cold, even in the spring. Make sure that you bring a warm coat and even gloves.

Reach via 201 bus from either Vevey station or from Escaliers de Gare from Montreux. Or take a cruise from Vevey/ Montreux.

Iconic! Medieval , romantic , but in a dungeons and dragons kind of way. DO NOT MISS!

It's really nice view from the sides of the castle , didn't really felt like paying to get in.

Be prepared with comfy shoes and warm clothes , don't miss the wine from Clos de Chillon you can buy it at the little souvenir shop.

Огромный замок ! Много залов открыто. Почти в каждом есть камин и вентиляция. Каждый зал неповторимо оформлен. Сам Байрон нацарапал свой автограф на одной из колонн подвала .

Очень красиво. Особенно с озера . Возьмите либо моторку либо водный велосипед и посмотрите на замок с озера . Ну и вблизи очень интересный замок .
