Beautiful place (it's an eatery inside an old Chinese temple ) beautiful food. Enjoyed the laksa n mee siam . Kueh kueh can be better if u ask me. #ThomtoriEats
Laksa (listed as Singapore ramen ) is thick and savoury here. Friend who has dined here before noticed that price has increased. This bowl $11.80 compared to nearby food centre's $3.50
Cute little cafe next to a Temple . Food is fresh and authentic , the staff are friendly , and the achar and kueh delicious.
Other reviews indicated laksa is a must try. It's ok. Uniqueness is the fact that it's located in a temple and not just serving vegetarian food .
A-must-visit place if you like peranakan patterns; they pack it carefully with bubble wraps for overseas travellers. Cafe is a pass..
Under new management. Renamed from Chong Wen Ge Cafe to Museum Cafe
The laksa that everyone talks about was served to me cold, soup wasn't hot enough. Prawns weren't super fresh and noodles were overcooked. Underwhelmed
The Kuehs are kinda underwhelming, even Bangawan Solo is better.
pricey but yummy nyonya kueh

Amazing Nasi Lemak made from scratch using fresh ingredients (fresh coconut milk, home made sambal, etc.) - Joanna
The nonya curry chicken is good - thick gravy and very substantial portions. - Sen Chew Lua
Beautiful old temple near Telok Ayer. I would say one of the most beautiful if not the most beautiful temples in Singapore. Very peaceful atmosphere and beautiful architecture. Must see. - Jenya S
