There is a fork in the path at the church of Ekklisia Profitis Ilias. Be very cautious when taking the path on the left as it was not well maintained with lots of loose gravel and dangerous.
Beautiful views and worth braving the summer heat for the beautiful views and the peace and quiet !
So many stunning viewpoints along the way, but be prepared with lots of water and good shoes as some parts are unpaved and have a lot of loose rocks.
Scenic trail . Medium difficulty due to some elevation and rocky paths . Can be grueling during the heat as there is no shade and few resting points.
The highlight of my stay in santorini! Took 3 hours of moderate to light pace from Fira to Oia.
