It's too bad that this place has received poor reviews from a coupon deal many years back. The meats, eggs and spices are all always fresh and tasty, and they offer good discounts to regular shoppers.
They now have a supplier for fresh goat !
On the coupon, I got my money back and do not have that high of an opinion of the shop.
Get some home made jerky or fois gras pâte
Edit to my earlier coupon comment: They're not honouring the original terms, but are making you spend dollar for dollar to realize the value of your coupon. Terrible.

Avoid this butcher at all costs. They sold thousands of coupons for their meat via deal sites, and then refused to honour them, effectively swindling thousands of Ottawa consumers.
Re comment by Noah T.: They didn't outright refuse to honour the coupons, but refused to accept them until May 1st b/c they screwed up.

Super sandwiches. Great espresso and friendly staff. Kitchen closes at 3 pm but you can still enjoy your lunch inside - Philippa Wadsworth
