Cutest bistro in Buda! The menu is not big but everything on it is delicious! Must have breakfast here also! It's a little pricy and service is not always the best but the place and the food is divine

Up to WW2, when his home in the neighborhood was destroyed, this was Sándor Márai favorite cafe . Probably "Embers" got its inspiration here.

Amazing kitchen, pretty fancy place . The staff is very competent but also tries to push you to order as many courses as possible, which feels somewhat inconvenient.

During lunch time you can ask the waiter for the pianist to play for more swing music . Breakfast is great too. Have some jasmin tea after your salmon over rye loaf. Woah!

The patinated restaurant has nice cheesecakes too, in two different tastes: the classic one comes with permanent chocolate , and the seasonal one is always made fruits . The selection changes every day.

Onion soup was delicious! Caramelized in nice way. Creme brulee tastes more like crema catalana , but also very nice. Interior and live music is perfect.

This is my favorite place to eat. Try any of the lemonades for a cool refreshing respite from the summer heat. Today I'm trying their chili honey lemonade . I also highly recommend their baked goods .

You should ask for the English breakfast , while the French version is worth a try as well , but it doesn't matter what do you choose, you get to taste the home-made bread with salt and butter.

A great place for all occasions. Some of the waiters could definitely brush up on their manners, but all in all, the atmosphere is friendly and chilled.

Sometimes it feels like the roles are reversed and the customers are friendlier than the waiters . There are always exceptions to the rule, thank God. A nice meal can quickly be ruined by the staff

A cute bistro with friendly staff and live music , however I was not that satisfied with the food. The salmon was definitely too sweet, the onion soup and túró gombóc is ok.
