A recently gilded, bronze WWI memorial in the Laurelhurst district is “Best landmark in town ” says Hutch Harris of The Thermals. “It went from sort of decrepit to looking like a really gaudy toy ”.
Go ahead and go around the circle all the way. Nice way of stopping and smelling the roses when you're rushed. And it's fun.
Nice park with good views of Portland.
