Classic ATL concert venue - but militant adherence to the fire evac lines along left/right stage. That being said: there are professionals and some real googly eyed dicks that are power hungry.
I like to stand just in front of the sound board but then they moved in upstairs. Floor still has the est sound. One of the best venues in town overall.
I've seen over 20 shows here, and each one was fantastic. I love the architecture is beautiful and rich with culture. There isn't a bad seat in the house. I love seeing shows here!
Upstairs, Beth and Kevin are the sweetest, most attentive bartenders . They remember my drink, show after show. Also, the baños are pretty clean .
Don't get a balcony stage left or right seat nearest to stage wall or you'll have obstructed views and will just be watching the monitors!
They have excellent shows here. You can sit balcony or be on the floor but they don't allow re-entry once you have left the stage area, so you can't go to the bathroom or anything until it's over
Now a live music and entertainment venue, The Tabernacle was once home to a 4,000-person Baptist congregation and the 3-bed Tabernacle Infirmary.
Superb venue to enjoy good and real live music in Atlanta downtown!!
Great views from every level. Sound system is world class
One of my all time faves. Parking in the deck across the street cheaper than the surface lots right next to the venue. Ted's Montana Grill also right across the street.
I like that The Tabernacle has seats on the second floor. It's a really cool venue but certainly not the best in Atlanta.
If you are planning on drinking, always remember to get to wristband you need before you get in the building. Otherwise they will send you back outside to get it.
This is an iconic and great venue for concerts in the metro Atlanta area.
If you want to camp out for a concert here you definitely need to know what you are doing and be prepared for heckling
Awesome night underway #ona13 with #cronkitehhh Humphrey Fellows at opening reception with Ruby Velle and Soulphonics
Great venue. One of the best in Atlanta. Rise against with gaslight anthem was one of the best I've seen here. Tonight, against me was great. So much better than silversun pickups.
I saw The Cult on a Sunday and then the next day went back and saw AFI....two totally different crowds...bands...and experiences....and BOTH were amazing!! This venue is a MUST!! I have seen many ba
Great concert venue ! Not a bad spot in the house! Stand at the stage or sit in the 2nd or 3rd level. All great seats!
Holy crap! The weather outside was horrible - rainy, cold & windy. This is the look I give when I finally made it in the venue ???? #chaos #nowitistimetorelax #kidcudi #february #twothousandandsixteen
The restored former church hosted Johnny Cash, James Brown, and the Blues Brothers during the Centennial Olympic Games in 1996.

Great place for concerts , has both a pit and a balcony !
Great intimate venue . Make sure to check out Ted's Montana Grill before/after the show.
The Tabernacle was a baptist church up until 1994, when it was sold to use as a entertainment venue for the 1996 Olympics. Thats some soul music !
Oh man, some of the best shows I've been to have been here. Support this awesome venue.
Great venue for concerts !

Bet that concert got you all hungry. Come down to Meehan's Downtown. It's just a walk away and the drinks are delicious! Cheers!
Park Bar is nearby and the best place to grab a beer or a meal before shows.
Great venue, excellent views from the balcony

For a quick, strong cocktail before the show, skip Ted's Montana Grill. Go to Park Bar...it's 2 blocks away.
Great venue to hear live music ! Balcony seats are awesome.
A great little venue to come & see shows. Concerts or stand up.
Visit Ted’s Montana Grill across the street for a nibble before a show! For the burger lovers, try the Bison Burger ! – Team Live Nation
Great venue for teens and their parents. Teens in the mosh pit , parents with a birds eye view . Sweeeeeeet.
Ween was awesome. I love to stand near the back on the main floor near the bar . That way you can see the entire stage and can stay hydrated.
There's always a white guy standing outside trying to sell you some tickets with fake VIP necklaces on. The tickets are legit but the VIP passes are bullsh*t.
The show's about to begin ???? #kidcudi #february #twothousandandsixteen
The Tabernacle is a 2600 capacity, 4 story, 100 year old converted church that now features some of the bigger metal shows.
Wish they had an elevator here, but the good thing is you could the band playing on all floors
My favorite concert venue in Atlanta !
I've been to some great concerts here. Looking forward to many more
Drink prices are a bit steep, BUT very strong drinks are produced. It's kind of like a win win.
This was an incredible music venue ! I would see another show here for sure.

Be prepared to beat the beggars off with a stick outside! Other than that, great venue!
Seats are upstairs if you don't want to stand
Be sure to check out a fun, dance party with Walk the Moon when they open for Kaiser Chiefs on March 10, 2012!
Great spot for an outdoor concert... plus lots of room on the lawn with a solid view! - Cellucor
Theater seating plus space on the floor in front of the stage. Great bathrooms. Very nice bartenders. One of the best concert venues I've been to. - Jules
Cool venue! Great place to see a show. Great seats and bar in the round. Hard to ask for much more. And there’s lots to do in the neighborhood which makes for a fun night - Patrick Lawson
Terrific lunch spot with a well curated selection of draft beers. - Marcelo Estrada
The Kale. Salad is fresh and invigorating. Paired with the Wild Horse Central Coast Pinot and a plate of careots, it's a great meal. - Kimberly Krautter
