San Francisco Bakery & Café

The sourdough is as close to San Francisco sourdough you can get here in Austin. In fact the starter is from SF but overtime has developed a unique Austin touch.

I love this place! Best sandwhiches and cookie ever.. John the owner is a super nice guy too, which makes this my favorite place to come when I'm up this way.. We love San Francisco bakery !

They often have Cream of Chicken soup . It is soooo good...it's like "grandma's." I like the California BLT also, but on a crecent roll (the sour dough is too thick and dough-y). Great coffee too!

I came here to get treats for a class party, and the staff was so accommodating and helpful. Plus, the food was delicious!

Grilled eggplant add avocado ! Fantastic. All of their baked goods are divine and this is a great place to ear alone or with friends :)

Everything a family owned biz should be! I ordered to-go & wasn't even thinking it took long, but he offered a free pastry for the wait. Um, cinnamon roll , yes please. Also, "on sourdough " - do it!

These guys know their business. Latte is solid. Cream cheese danishes are great.

Phenomenal service , but using your Go Local card here is like putting sunglasses on at night. Not hardly ever going to help ,esp. when you can only use it at when you spend more than $10.

They bake cookies throughout the day, so there's a chance you can get a fresh batch during lunch . Also, this place is no longer cash-only.

Get the cookies . They are the best I have had in years, and I like cookies .
