Bruegger's Bagels

For a chain, this has pretty good bagels . Brooklyn Bagel Bakery in Clarendon is better, but this is the best option in Ballston. (By the way, why would someone think a chain is better? see other tips)

As the new mayor I promise to make sure there are an abundance of everything bagels and they are properly toasted.

Try the trio for lunch . Sandwich soup and a drink for $6.99. Can't beat it for a quick lunch

They wouldn't let me add a signature bagel sandwich to the Trio, even though the sign says this can be done for $1 more. When I pointed this out, she shrugged and said she wasn't taught how to.

Chicken spatzel soup is very good!

Now open until six!!! Now I can get some bagels for the next morning after work!

Thought with this being a chain i'd get a great bagel ....wrong!!! I have gotten better bagels around the corner. Not toasted enough & butter was barely there...never again

Your first problem. Getting decaf coffee

They were out of half of their bagels by lunchtime.

The decaf coffee always has grinds in it.
