Dan is abrasive but think of him as soup nazi. As long as you know what you're dealing with it's not as bad. Def don't let him deter you from going. Great pastries , soups , quiches and daily specials !

Good spot for brunch on the patio in Montrose. Omelet was good but a little disappointing - lots of egg with not a lot of the fillings. Pizzas are a great choice - get the one w fig and prosciutto

where to start w/ this place, been coming here for over 15yrs, their coffee amazing, atmosphere is blissful, loved all the food especially their pizza , and desserts are yumm, my fav tiramisu .

Carrot cake and coffee are a must on every return trip I make to Houston, and both patios are fantastic, although I do enjoy getting a seat in the front room.

Great patio - however they don't let you bring your four-legged friends! They do say you can tie them up to the other side of the gate where you eat however.
