The Huntsman of Brockenhurst

Now renamed The Huntsman, the food is of exceptional quality. It's had a serious make over. The pizzas are thin and crispy . I had the wild mushroom and spinach linguini . It was Devine.

Great service. Chap behind the bar carried my pint from one bar to the other, and a particularly (0 degrees-ish) cold evening offered to take hot water out to thaw the lock on my girlfriend's vehicle.

Great beer garden , friendly bar staff , pizzas look great (although haven't tried them)

Get the steak medium rare, side of beer battered onion rings and a Bombay sapphire and tonic and youll have the best lunch !

Good locally sources food and great spacious beer garden .

Lots of outside seating . They do carvery and have bnb.

Guy at the bar rolled his eyes when I wanted a drink with my food order...

Good selection of real ale , with large beer garden & helpful staff . Food standard pub fare but not to badly priced.

Decent B&B accommodation. Food is awful. Over-cooked vegetables , a glob of goat 's cheese & chutney dressed as a tart ; a foul paste disguised as pesto and soggy, tasteless pasta to round it out.

Don't ask them to substitute anything e.g. Chips for potatoes - they won't - not very helpful!
