Lovely place which has very ancient books but unfortunately as a tourist you cannot go further than the entrance + no pics :-( So a bit disappointing...
It's a gorgeous building, but you're not allowed to do anything bar look through the door.
Corridor leading to the reading room is flanked by Doric columns.
A very beautiful building

Very nice place to study! Clean and quiet with very beautiful environment. But be there early if you want to take a good seat. - eatsmylife
Nicely located, easy to access either by public transportation or on foot. Beautiful building with statues of ancient Greeks. Nice to hang out in the gardens on a sunny day. - Murat
A square at the centre of Greek life. History, beauty, politics, unrest, celebration, meeting place. Been through a lot. Always a favourite. - Costas Lazarides
