Service a bit slow but food was delicious - fish of the day and banana bread with peanut butter ice cream ! Staff were nothing but friendly .
Great little pub tucked away in Dalston. Some good beats from DJs on Sunday arvo/evenings. Rumour has it some pretty cool Aussies have served behind the bar here.
Generous portions of excellent food. The roast pork belly is consistently fantastic! Great atmosphere (especially on Sundays) and friendly staff .
Good selection of gin and beers . great on a sunny afternoon. Food is decent as well .
Great vibe, friendly staff and relaxing place to have a few pints with mates away from the hustle and bustle of kingsland.
Nice little boozer with wide selection of drinks. Outdoor tables perfect for warm days.
Was previously one of my favourite Sunday roasts but in the past 18 months it's gone downhill a wee bit! Beef was still good, but vegetables a bit bland and overall not what it once was!
Great bar , not huge but good food and wine !
Nice food and oub atmosphere. Sunday roasts are really good too.
Great food, well known Sunday roasts & super dog friendly ????
Great pub , excellent food, extra friendly staff and really nice neighbourhood! Liked it VERY much!
good food. pork ragu was delicious. not cheap though.
Love the fairy lights on the roof terrace at night. Really sweet little pub and friendly staff .
Try the Roast Beef - Best roast in shoreditch I have found so far. Get horseradish if you have beef .
Great gastro-pub with Dalston spirit. Excellent food.
Great pub , especially downstairs.
Neighbourhood pub with a nice rooftop
Super trendy pub
Plus: Serves alcohol . Negative: pretty much just serves alcohol . Not a lot of charm
Great place! Great service! Great food! Try the duck !
this place has a unique atmosphere
Pork Belly Sunday Roast über Alles!
If you crave a juicy, hearty, meat, try the braised venison . It's Huuuge
Landlord. Every time (that's a beer ).
Best roast in Hackney
First sunny Sunday in London and what better way to celebrate than with a roast. Shame the waiter was such an ass. Won't be coming back that quickly.
Get the roast... nothing comes close!
Friendliest staff in the land! No pretence in an area full of hipster douche bags
Nice outside space for sunny days. Not too busy on a saturday afternoon.
Head on up to the balcony seating area.
Sunday Roast is below par.
Cool pub with very friendly staff
Pulse Radio loves The Talbot :)
Trivial pursuit on the balcony . Great service. Not enough cheeses
Terrace closes at 10pm :(
The cheese board is a *bit* of a rip off. Lots of crackers plus three sad, thin, sad slithers of cheap cheese . Nice pub tho.
Try the hop head as and when it's in
Steak !
Can't believe Keith is still the Mayor!
Don't order a Peroni as it will cost you £1 more than all the other lagers . Food is average but overpriced, better off visiting a local restaurant instead.
It's all about jazz night on Sundays. Besides being one of the only pubs in London open past 12am, The Haggerston is a must on Sundays for its eclectic crowd, great beer selection and smooth jazz. - Glenn Ebert
Good tunes, nice drinks and beer garden gets amazing afternoon sun. - dml82
Excellent huge bar snacks, love the scoth eggs and sausage rolls :) - Lauren McGregor
Great ales on tap, with regular guest ales! Also good whiskey and tequila available. Good food too and a good place to watch a match if they're showing in the back room (large screen, seats aplenty). - Ros O'Flynn
Sushi and cocktails. Amazing sound system. Go early or gets packed! - Cris Mascort
