Museo della Civiltà Romana

This museum , located in the EUR, holds many plaster casts and copies of Roman works along with a model of Rome from the time of Constantine . The cast of the Column of Trajan is one of the highlights!

The architecture of the Museo della Civiltà Romana was utilised for a number of scenes in Equilibrium (2002): where Father gives a speech, clerics practice gun kata and the Resistance mount an attack.

Divided into 59 sections, the museum has large spaces and can display parts of life-sized buildings and monuments . You can't miss the plastic model of Rome in the period of Emperor Constantine . Read more

Un museo dedicato alla storia di Roma, da visitare soprattutto per l'architettura , il plastico di quasi 50metri e i calchi pezzo per pezzo della colonna Traiana !

Tappa fondamentale per chi vuole conoscere Roma. I plastici e le ricostruzioni aiutano a comprendere le trasformazioni e la storia che hanno portato alla formazione della città attuale.

Museo un po' in disarmo ma fondamentale per comprendere la vita quotidiana in età romana . Imperdibili il plastico di Roma e la Colonna Traiana "srotolata" e ad altezza d'uomo.
