Congress Avenue Kayaks invite our downtown neighbors, workers, and visitors to Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin to paddle a standup paddleboard or a kayak.

Cheaper than other kayak rentals and they have singles/doubles. Beautiful way to be active and see Austin along the river (not sure why natives call it a lake )
Double kayaks look like fun. Love the new docks. Also a large excavation next door. Either a deep foundation or a set of flood control locks!
Friendly staff and clean equipment ! A must do when visiting Austin
Clean equipment , cool breeze, calm water .
Awesome and friendly group of people. Awesome rentals.
A great, cheap way to spend an afternoon.
Don’t forget your ID as it will be required to borrow a kayak
Good prices and equipment!

Went to see the bats but wasn't able to get a good picture. However the view to from the bridge to the Capitol is amazing! - Kaminsky Evans
Natural scenery, interesting art, uncrowded trails and plenty of water fountains make this one of the best running paths in the country. - Tom Eschbacher
It was amazing to see. There is information about the bats along the north east side of the hiking trail. The crowd thins out after the first few minutes. The bats keep coming for about 20 minutes. - Millie Johnson
Nice spot to launch from, beautiful view of downtown and can easily paddle over to the new boardwalk. - Rachael
