Amazing views of the city from the top of Montmartre hill . One of the best spots to watch the sunset in Paris. Visit on a clear day. A must see destination! Cafes of Montmartre are around the corner
Sacré-Cœur’ means ‘Sacred-Heart’ in English and is a reference to the heart of Jesus, which is the representation of his divine love for humanity ❤️ Beautiful Church ......Lovely area ????
Marvelous city view at early morning, rest of time filled with swarming tourists . Explore the neighborhood , Montmartre vibes are much stronger then you think.
The Basilica is beautiful, but check out the church to the left - built in 11th century by nuns using stone from an ancient Roman temple that stood here before it.
A Roman Catholic church and minor basilica in Paris dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus ???? designed by Paul Abadie ✨
Worth the climb to see a free view of Paris. The basilica is great as well . You can enter for free and go to the observatory tower for a fee. We aware of the street vendors
In a montage of shots of the devastated earth following the zombie attacks of World War Z (2013) we see the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur with the Eiffel Tower in the background as we hear of the new hope.
Lots of stairs have to be climbed in order to reach this beautiful Catholic Church . Even though, there were lots of people hanging out there enjoying the view of Paris, you enjoy serenity inside!
It's a beautiful church . There is a small park nearby Over looking Paris which has a Beautiful view . However lots of people during summer time. As usual. Ahah. And few hills to climb up too.
One of the oft missed by Paris visitors. However it is a must see. Try arriving via the Montmartre bus and alight at Place du Tertre. Walk through the market before reaching the basilica .
Lovely catholic church , HIGHLY recommend the dome trip - 300 steps and 8 euros, but the view was stunning ????we went there one a foggy day, but a great alternative to the eiffel tower????
Scenic view . You feel like you walk on time ; feeling like i am not in 20c any more. Old beautiful building . Vintage restaurant serving tradition french cuisine (especially crepe ) .
Go early if you want to see the fantastic views of Paris from this 19th century cathedral at the highest point in Paris. Otherwise, it's overrun with Japanese girls taking hundreds of selfies.
The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica , dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in Paris, France.
True Landmark in Paris Skyline. You can see it from almost any place in Paris. Is a nice luminous church different from the dark gothic ones! You have to visit! Read more
the climb is so worth it tho. if youre lucky, you'll catch this dude doing tricks with a soccer ball and scaling lampposts. honestly one of the more memorable experiences in paris!
From outside it's one of the most spectacular sights in the world. Inside it's pretty forgetful. I prefer the view from Notre Dame than SC dome. Plus it's easier to climb given the narrow stairs .
My favorite church in Paris. Beautiful architecture , lovely neighborhood , and great views of the city . If you're lucky you'll catch the soccer guy in nice weather, though it does create quite a crowd.
famous spot of Paris, when u go to top of the hill ,u will see panorama view of Paris and my dream is bring my son to sit on this place and listening harpe song
The dome of the Sacre Coeur is the second-highest point in Paris after the Eiffel Tower, providing great views of the city ! Come early morning or evening to avoid the crowds!
Worth the walk up the stairs and past the horde of sellers touching your arm. Just hold on to your wallet and say NO ! not so bad on the top, there they sell you beer and are a lot nicer.
A beautiful cathedral and the most amazing view on Paris. Located between the magical streets of Montmartre. Free entry.
I had a local drive me up to Sacré-Cœur, but would still highly recommend making the effort to visit. The views across Paris are lovely and what little I saw of Montmarte, it is worth visiting Read more
Really enjoyable place. You can pray, you can eat crepes , chocolates , macarones , you can make art , you can just sit on the ladders and make love, you can do shoppin... whatever u want
You must visit this one. View and ambiance are wonderful. Do not forget get inside and explore sculptures .
A must in Paris. If you are lucky and the weather is great - the view of Paris will be fantastic. The cathedral is very beautiful too
One of the must-sees of Paris. Be careful downstairs as there are some pickpockets, but it's worth it to go here for the view of Paris during sunset !
This place is not only about "the great view " thing but the holy and sacred atmosphere inside the church !.. It gives your soul such a unique, blessed feeling! You can light a candle and make a wish!
Definitely make the climb to the top of the dome. Breathtaking views make the huffing and puffing worth it. Stay away from bracelet vendors, who can get quite aggressive and physical in their efforts.
This is my favorite church in Paris. The views from the dome are awesome, but the climb to the top is very narrow, so a warning for those who are claustrophobic.
Worth the climb for the view . It's not really with paying for a ride up. The stairs in the center area are pretty broken up. Do a set, then stop for the view and pictures. Then repeat. Good workout
Beautiful basilica atop a hill overlooking Paris. Go inside and possibly catch the nuns choir singing, then tour the neighborhood down the hill for great restaurant options.
One of the must-see of Paris. Be careful downstairs there are some pickpockets but it worth it to go there for the view of paris during sunset !
Amazing basilica ! View is gorgeous, no need to take the funicular, more enjoyable to walk up!
Located on the Montmartre Hill , near Pigalle, this beautiful cathedral offers a lovely viewpoint. The streets nearby are the home of numerous painters and musicians . A bit touristy but must see.

This Catholic Church/basilica in Montmartre (highest point in the city ) has stunning Romanesque-Byzantine architecture . Don't miss the Christ in Majesty (one of the biggest mosaics in the world).
Nice view of paris, nice crowd of people with street music and comedian usually, and for sure the church itself.
One of must visit place in Paris. Fascinating view .
Amazing views and great atmosphere up there. Very busy with lots of tourist shops but well worth it for the sights.
Be careful of the scammers outside! Very aggressive scammers!! They will try to grab your arm and tie on a bracelet, or sign a petition then insist you donate to their fake charity for Deaf people.
You can use your T+ ticket for the funicular ride up the Butte du Montmartre and save yourself some energy but walk down through the backlanes and find the surprising private vineyards .
A fabulous place to spend a day in it also there are painters everywhere who can paint you????
Beware of the aggressive friendship bands scammers on the way up. Totally fantastic city view is worth it though. The church has amazing architecture too.
When you've had enough of the amazing view from the west front, go inside and take part in the vigil of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
Beautiful church with spectacular views of the city . The view from the dome is worth the walk up!
Beautiful church with a great view of Paris . But it's always crowed and chaotic, and the inside of the church has no comparison with the outside
One of my favorite walks and views in the city is the one through Montmartre up to Sacré-Cœur
It's a grand architecture as the Notre Dame, but in different style. Nice view of the city . We were planning to watch sunrise but it was too foggy.
Absolutely stunning! Do not forget to go inside..and also try funny merry-go-round in front of the basilic ♥️ U wont regret!
Definitely worth the €6. Come early and it’s empty! - Will Bertelsen
