Similar to the Flatiron building in New York, it was built in 1924 and originally named the Normandie Apartments for foreign managers in the French Concession.
Cool building
Vanished hanging wire, uniform outdoor AC compressors. The residential sense has faded today by becoming a photogenic monument that is shaped and consumed commercially by the buzzy influencer culture.
