At Munich airport Lufthansa passengers can check their bags in themselves! New baggage drop-off machines guide passengers through this easy process. You'll find the system in Terminal 2.

Without any doubt: when changing flights in Europe, MUC is your #1 choice. Smooth, quiet ,cosy, great shopping and excellent restaurants . And: 35 minutes minimum connection time is unrivaled.

Frank S.

The world`s most relaxing and convenient hub. Noone can beat those 35 mins min conex time. Did you note that, even during peak hours, it is so quiet in there despite thousands of people transferring?

Victor Razvan

One of the most efficient airports I have seen! It is very clean and you get around it quickly. It is not impressive in architecture per se but it’s clockwork. Lufthansa business lounges are ???? :)

Cleanest & best organized airport worldwide. Lounges , eating options, shopping is best that an airport can offer.

Hashim A.

Very quiet airport , well organized and not too vast.

Beer is cheaper than coffee and juice . This place has its own brewery . 3.50 euros for 0.5 liter mug. Middle of the range coffee and smoothies are 5 and up.

Use P20 to park (prebook to get a good rate) then its around 150m to the terminal. Coming from P20 you right away hit the automated baggage machines. Use them, avoid the staff and the queues.

Lufthansa is correct in proudly calling MUC their "premium hub". It`s the worlds nicest and most convenient terminal with all Star Alliance carriers under one roof. And it´s so quiet in there..

Lufthansa

The arrival point for visitors from around the world. Lufthansa lands at Terminal 2. The adjoining observation deck offers a wonderful view of the take-off and landing runways.

Ewald Josef Tratzmüller

Great Sushi and Sashimi at Terminal 2 Upper Level (Level 5) in the Public area (above the checkin counters) - not quite cheap but excellent quality ! WOW ! Also very delicious thai dishes!

Welcome to Bavaria and Munich. Be aware, here is the most strict police in the country . These guys don't understand fun (or at least most of them)

Alexey Morozov

They have free tea and coffee , but they will make you pay for a plastic bag for your toiletries and send you to the back of the queue to buy it.

Panos Meyer

Best way to get into town : Lufthansa Shuttle Bus (10,50€) also for non LH guests. Faster, quieter and much more convinient compared to the train .

Mark Lee

Sadly duty free is neither Heinemann nor Dufry but is well stocked. Modern efficient airport . Sadly no airside postboxes which Frankfurt airport provide and post for you with Deutsche Post.

Daniel Blank

You HAVE to try one of the airplanes while you're here! They are amazing!

Marcus Lindemann

When you are hungry here, it's best to eat before passing Security checks, if you are boarding at terminal one; at Terminal 2 there' s plenty of choice & good quality behind security.

Jarrod

This terminal has everything and easy to get lost in. It appears to get larger every time I arrive here.

Tea H.

Only 30min of free wifi is barely enough, if you wait for a connecting flight longer, but free tea , coffee and newspaper at the gates provided by Lufthansa make up for that! :)

Take the metro to the centre of Munich. Go to marienplatz and visit Restaurant Andechser Am Dom for the best schnitzel . You will not regret this!!

The EDEKA supermarket in the central area is over the last years rated as the best in whole germany. And this not without a reason!
