Train World

The TrainWorld museum was the highlight of our trip. 1 of the most unique museums of this kind in the world. It combined the story of the train throughout the centuries with a look into the future.

Come and discover the history of Belgium 's railway network, the oldest on the European continent and admire the Pays de Waes, built in 1842 and the oldest remaining steam engine in Europe.

Wonderful collection, modern and interactive museum . The kids will love it! Sometimes service at the entrance is rather slow...

Make sure you have something to drink/eat with you, there are no catering facilities once you start your visit.

The main train hall is impressive. A must visit for train fans and children.

Interesting but I would not recommend it for young kids. Difficult to keep their attention going. As an adult you miss out on a lot, if you can't use the audioguide because of impatient children.

Train World itself was good, but the Lego event (for which we came back now) was disappointing... Too few models, too small tracks (which didn't even look very nice),...

This is a museum that is geared more for children. Some interesting items but otherwise just okay.

Prachtig museum, tot in de details uitgewerkt. De geschiedenis van de stoomtrein en zijn opvolgers wordt zeer goed in kaart gebracht. Prachtige authentieke modellen. Echte aanrader voor kids.

С детьми отлично - часть экспонатов можно осмотреть внутри, на выходе симулятор. Есть ж/д оборудование, но без описаний.

Superbe! Attention, il faut acheter son ticket via internet pour éviter la file! Dommage que rien ne soit indiquer pour ne pas la faire!!!!

Zeer uitgebreid museum. Vriendelijke en duidelijke gids voor personen met een beperking.

Zeer goed museum. Neem wel je tijd want er staat veel om te bekijken. Minstens 3 uur voorzien.

Musée qui vaut le détour ! Prévoyez un peu plus d' 1h30 pour la visite.
