Don't just expect great seafood here (although the seafood is very good). The steak was bomb as well . Fantastic service and keep a look out for their groupon!
chic and cool place. excellent service and superb food. Do not miss this place if u r in SF
We both shared the calamari misto and then had the striped bass . Excellent on both accounts. Menu is more limited than pre-COVID but still a good mix of items. Glad to have them reopened!
I needed a hangover burger and Catch was the first place I happened upon. Small in appearance yet packed with the perfect burger flavour. Yum. Great battered onion rings , too.
Get the Tempura Shrimp Sushi Roll with smoked salmon , avocado , wasabi , soy, sesame oil ,.....perfectly balanced (and practically a meal in itself)
Check out the AIDS quilt when you first step in. Last stop on Detour's audio tour of the Castro.
Very pleasantly surprised with the miso cod . If you're a cioppino fanatic, the seafood stew is the way to go. Make sure to get the calamari as an appetizer !
Amazing restaurant . No bad dishes you have to try this place!!!
Good Food! Great Staff ! Perfect location!
The calamari and the chicken were delicious!
Dine about town !! Great deal!! The French onion soup or spinach salad !! Both great and then the sea bass and bread pudding
The food was good but we thought it was very expensive , definitely more than the $$ the suggests: $47 for a main and a beer , after all the additions. It was good, but that seemed steep to me.
Salmon was cooked to perfection, as expected. A little pricy , but worth it.
Delicious fish . Yum. The night I went they offered a discount on wine - 50% off a bottle.
As a vegetarian I ordered the polenta with spinach , mushroom and feta . I found it to be too buttery for my taste, but I'll admit that I tend to like bland food. My friend really enjoyed his salmon .
The Cabernet braised (boneless ) short ribs simply melts in your mouth.
if you like fried pickles , get the catch Bloody Mary
Service can be too Castro ie inattentive but the food is very good particularly the artichoke appetizer and the pear sorbet .
Sit by the fireplace on the outer patio . Even when crowded it is still very romantic
Good sea food and nice atmosphere ... Great for groups !
Try the Wild Salmon , Asparagus Risotto with Smoked Pistachio Pesto - Laurette loved it.
Tried the crab cakes and crispy duck dumplings for appetizers . Loved em.
Try the blue tilapia , it's sooo good. The Malbec was OK, probably from an opened bottle! Overall just amazing.
Definitely get the shrimp scampi with creamy polenta . Wow!
Oh la la! This Castro mainstay has come out of a coma… with a French accent! ????????
The Catch Stew is amazing
Order the fried jalea mix. You can't go wrong with fried tiger prawns , calamari , and rock cod !
Oysters were great. Also try the swordfish !
Delicious food and great service. Here's the tip: EAT HERE.
Catch stew is phenomenal and halibut is perfectly cooked
The Ahi tuna is exquisite and delicious. A light, tasty raw sushi steak .
Seafood is good, ask for bread
Wanted to try something different... Went for the muscles with fries and chorizo ... DEEELICIOUS!
Decent, but uninspired food. It would have been great to find a place like this in a small town somewhere, but it's not up to SF standards.
Lots of good choices here. Even enjoy the brisket sandwich from the lunch menu .
Great seafood , wine and drinks
Tuesday is half price bottle of bottle of wine night some times
Chicken with potatoes and veggies was amazing but I'm stuck on the ahi !!!
Try the French Onion Soup - Delicious and (I think) vegetarian .
Order the Humanitas Chardonnay -- goes great with everything & proceeds from the sale go to the SF Food Bank Read more
I love their patio - by the fire!!
Try the Sushi Roll - It's huge! Good for sharing.
Try the Fish and Chips Platter
AHI TAR TAR is the Best Starter!!
Yum done about town
Heavy, decent, but soulless seafood .
Try the Sauteed Halibut - Yummy!
Brunch sitting at the bar !
Great seafood stew and free wifi . :)
Try the Smoked Salmon Pizza
Brunch with a view - burgers, oysters, beer, patio, nice bartenders = happy Sunday PS: try the bread pudding! - Laura Mason
Beautiful views but expensive. Great food. Full bar with open seating and full service. Great staff. Make reservations during busy season - Shawna Marie
Great fish and chips. Seasoned fries make it more interesting and salad on the side feels healthier! - David Auerbach
Going for 4$ margaritas is totally worth it. The bartenders and pretty cool too. Attentive. - Jessenotpatrick Day
Great cocktails! Try the New Orleans coffee, on tap right now ☕️???? - Adi Dahiya
Beautiful old movie theater with ornate decorations and a Wurlitzer organ. Often plays campy films, classic films, and deliciously tongue-in-cheek double header pairings. Iconic marquee. - Katherine M.
