Tucked away behind Oxford Circus, this is a friendly place with good chicken options - when they are in stock. Comedy downstairs if you want jokes with your drinks.

A nice pub just off Cavendish Square, offering 2-3 real ales and a pleasant informal atmosphere.

One of my favourite pubs near Oxford Circus. Has a great selection of beers on tap , and quite a few craft beers too. Decent selection of bottled beer as well .

Old rope comedy night on Mondays is a great chance to see well known comedians trying new material .

Good atmosphere and friendly staff . They have a comedy show called the Geekatorium on Thursday nights, it was pretty good

A pub that sells Fruli by the pint is a great pub in my books . Nice relaxed atmosphere , met some great people also. Well worth a visit...

Good choice of ales and nice atmosphere. Even equipped with the good coat pegs under the bar worktops. Worth a visit.

Monday night comedy is fun, see a big name comedian try out new material from a fiver !

Great pub , food is excellent, the burger is delicious and the starter sweet potato hummus is very nice and very filling.

There's a sister Phoenix next to Denmark Hill station in South London. Same beer , same food, higher ceiling.

Check out the "Notes Drawer" in the table to the right of the entrance. Makes for brilliant conversation!

2 FOR 1 burgers on Tuesdays 12-6pm. And they are not bad at all!

This pub has no soul but they do have some choice beer in bottles/cans

There is a downstairs bar which is quiet if there isn't an event on.
