Why should u buy map, many other way to get it free. So stop complaining fork out RM2 for it, stupid! Singapore Zoo vs Zoo Negara (RM99/44 for adult) & (RM66/16 for children), stop comparing it kiasu!

This is Malaysia's National Zoo , where both kids and adults will have the best time seeing the thousands of animals. Don't miss the exhibits on Malaysian elephants, reptiles, and nocturnal

The place is big so I recommend going in the morning. They have a show at 11 AM. You might not see all the animals moving as it's hot and they hide in the shade.

The panda is cute but I only saw one of it and is sleeping. But overall a good experience. The show is entertaining, is improving a lot since the last time I went(10 years ago)? Haha

Great Zoo , and a nice place to visit , Except that you had to pay extra to see pandas LOL ... , And Like Every place in Malaysia If it Rains Your Day is Ruined

The best way to educated your children about animals is to bring them here. You can see elephants, camels, urang utan, squirrels, buffaloes, monkey, rabbit , crocodiles , giraffes, zebras, panda , rhinos

So glad can get a Interactive v so many tame animal,but hv so many type of animal close up for progress! Suggest to go on next year 2014 after panda coming!

The animals are healthy and a good place for family fun time! On addition, the Zoo is undergoing renovation works at the moment.

Nice zoo , animals, staff & service. Prepare to pay a bit more for paid services like trains , petting , pictures & foods. Worth it.

Good family activities. There are promotions for tickets. Check before buying. There are lots of "Required photo taking". Panda show is chargable and can see 2x aþ 20 minutes each time.

Remember to get your DISCOUNTS at promotion & redemption counter!! (Next to ticket counter)

Go early and make sure you have the energy to go around it with your kids... Food and drinks are pricey too...

Entrance fee is your contribution to the animals. Some people are just cheap . Maybe you're the one who needs to be locked up in the zoo with the animals for having such a mentality.

Dirty toilet at entrance, cleaner 1 at Panda Conservation Centre. Avoid Savannah Cafeteria to buy drinks, cashier not honest, buy earlier outside or from vending machines, cheaper. Free on your b'day.

First visit and was impressed nonetheless. First panda sighting too. Ticket price is including the panda conservatory.

Awesome place to have a casual date with your loved ones. Learning about different species of animals, enjoying the wildlife experience is amazing!

Remembered that I enjoyed it much more as a kid. Didn't quite like the hard sell to purchase the momento photos, it took away my visiting time. Oh well , Malaysia #boleh.

Seems to have undergone a facelift - looks more decent now. Pay an additional rm20 to view the pandas . Chances are they'll be sleeping, but hey you get to bask in air conditioning for a good 20 mins.

if you want to pass some time at the zoo for free & get close with the animals, become a volunteer! but if you go with a group of less than 3 people, be prepared to go home super exhausted..!

Animal show start at 11:00am and 3:00pm only everyday. Come early so you can get the seat.

Bring your own food and drink

Almost a third of the whole zoo is closed. But the entrance fees are not reduced, since we couldn't enjoy all of what it has to offer. Their workers are inconsiderate, smoking nearby animals & kids.

Many new improvements has taken place since my last visit almost 5 years ago, worth a gisit now

All the animals were sleeping, the only part that we enjoyed was the pandas ????

Bring cash to purchase ticket as they only accept debit / credit card payment for ticket purchase of RM200 and above only. Isn’t it wrong as merchants to do so? ????

Most of the animals here are obese and usually only 1 or 2 animals are displayed...

The zoo is still sad, ugly and old even after the sudden price increase. Map cost RM2.Parking cost RM5.5 for first 3 hours.Contruction focus mainly on the panda exhibition while abandoning others.

Really need to upgrade the toilets . Otherwise, good, clean place. The river is a bit dirty tho.

Everything needs to pay besides the entrance ticket already not cheap ... even the map need to pay... so malaysia....

The zoo needs to put in more waste bins especially in the car park if they do not want people to litter. Upgrade required on many facilities.

car parking is charged at RM5.50 for the first 3 hours and RM1.00 for subsequent hour.

can know too many animals at here! and I can meet my friend giraffe!! hahaha

most part are quite not well maintained. quite a shame for malaysian when overseas tourists visited the place.

Apart from panda not worth the ticket price, animal are very few here and last time when I was a child used to have KFC all around the zoo but now no more

It was my first time touched kangaroo & pose with snake .. whoaa .. Damn love that friendly penguin ..

family trip must be fun and make sure you got enough strollerS for kidS!

Some parts under renovation but over all is still ok. Pity the poor penguins will so little space to swim
