It's a great locals hangout , the food is great, the atmosphere is dim and relaxing. Great music . Awesome people. The bartenders are all great, but Ashely is my personal favorite. Best pub in the area

We had some beers and wings here on a Saturday afternoon, the service was good and the wings tasty. They have a wood burning fireplace in the middle of the place. Plenty of T.V.'s with the games on.

I always go here for their beef stew , and the atmosphere, especially for live music , is always fun. Hands down the best beef stew in town with homemade soda bread to boot. Great lunch specials as well

The food was amazing and they even have outdoor seating with a bar . And the Beer just kept on coming and it all tasted great. I will definitely be back when the next soccer game is going on.

We were looking for a place for dinner and decided to give Murphy's a try. Really a neat place; great decor, live Irish music , great beer , and pretty good food. Can't beat it for the prices.

While vacationing in Virginia beach, my wife and I stopped here for dinner . Very good food and reasonably priced. Four of us ate, I had a couple pints and the bill was $70...not bad for beach dinning.

I have visited for brunch , lunch and dinner , and also sometimes just for drinks. The bartenders and waitstaff have always been polite and helpful. This bar is an excellent Irish pub .

Went here for the first time last night and the food was amazing! Our table had bangers and mash , fish and chips , Irish pie and chicken nuggets and everything was perfect!

The meat pie with cottage fries was AMAZING - full of flavor, but we were expecting a larger portion. Friendly and fun staff . We played darts . Outdoor bar with music playing

We always visit Murphy's when we are in VA Beach and each visit just gets better and better. Our last visit was exceptional due to the absolutely top notch service

Terrific, reasonably priced meal. My wife had the Irish stew (made with beef , not lamb ), good & filling. I'm not a fish & chips expert, but these were the best I've had.

This was a fun place to be. They had good food at a good price, Hard to find in VA beach area . They also had parking and entertainment. The wait staff was very pleasant.

Sat at the outside bar it was nice, a great place to hang out with friends and people watch . The beers were cold and the service was typical. Had a great time and can't wait to go back.

Great bands such as Cheap Thrill - good bar food . Good Sunday brunch and $2 beers . The bartenders are great and quick. The outdoor bar is wonderful all year long.

This is a great place to go to an authentic Irish pub in the Hampton Roads area. It's the only place I know of locally where the Irish gather on a regular basis.

I saw The Fighting Jamesons there, great time and great service! Waiters were friendly and attentive. I will definitely be making this a regular stop when at the beach .

Came here for a few beers with my husband. We sat at the outside bar . It was nice, staff was excellent, beer was good. Very nice location would definitely come back again.

Good beer and food, both reasonably priced. Atmosphere inside is vibrant, with sports showing on screens on most walls - so you can keep up with the game.

We ate here twice while on vaca - surprisingly affordable for being close to the beach - the food was good and the atmosphere was a pub.quieter in the day rowdy after 10 pm. We'll definitely go again.

Came here on a cold day. They have a huge wood burning fireplace inside, warmed me up real quick and after a few beverages I had forgotten all about the icy weather outside.

great food. LOVED the music and the patrons getting in on the singing. The dude sang for three hours and what a voice. the violin player was a hoot. it was hard to believe we were there for so long.

This was my 1st visit and I have lived here my entire life. Shame on me. The reuben is delicious and if all the waitresses are like Renee this a blessed restaurant .

Place is really good, staff is nice and honest price. Fish and chips was perfect and to drink try Murphy's Crush drink.

The event coordinator was GREAT, and they made it an excellent experience putting their finest bartender on the job. The snacks were awesome, and everyone had a great time!

We enjoyed some specialty drinks and the Irish stew . Actually pretty great and fresh. Had some live entertainment even on a weekday. It was a nice visit.

Overall a ver good experience. Wait staff attentive, food was good, portions were not gigantic. Live entertainment. I would go back again. For a sports bar , I would consider it excellent.

This is the best place to come on Sunday morning. Ryan was there to greet us w/ a smile and humor at the bar . There's never a dull moment on Sundays.

EXACTLY what an Irish Pub should be! Murphy's has it's own parking lot , and is close enough to the beach to be an easy walk.

Cosy bar/restaurant. Good selection of food and drinks, with great service. Definitely worth a visit.

Murphy's was one of our last stops on our bar crawl and it was a decent end to the night. The food was decent, live music was good, and the bar was really clean .
