Best Italian place in this neighbourhood. Great life music and service.
We love Pisticci, their food is amazing and staff always fun, friendly & down to Earth. Can’t recommend it enough.
By far the best place in the area. Authentic Italian dishes that taste like home. Great beer and wine selection . The seasonal fig salad is legendary! Fettuccine misto di mare and Maltagliati are favs
Really good food, and even more, the nicest outdoor setup for COVID times, as the lighting/seating is done really well and it’s on a relatively quiet street. I recommend highly before it gets too cold
Hidden Gem . Food is so mind blowing! Had the Fettuccine special w/seafood, along w/the grapefruit martini w/ Gin & I've never finished a plate the way I did! Service, food, and price - 5 stars!
Everything is excellent here. The food, cocktails , ambiance, and service are all amazing. Great date night spot that’s affordable and insanely delicious.
When I came back from spending 4mos in Italy, this was my spot. Authentic cooking. Good olive oil . All 10+ times I've ordered the Spaghetti for two + garlic bread w/ goat cheese . Splendid every time.
I’m not going to screw around: this place is as good as it gets. You can’t make any mistakes. It’s all Great. Just have whatever. It’ll be good.
Nice little hidden spot off Broadway with quality Italian fare . Menu is rather small but the dishes aren't too over the top so you'll enjoy whatever you get.
Delicious ragu bolognese . Homemade pasta . Great price point.
Borough Italian restau tend to focus on pasta (& maybe pizza ). Pisticci does beautiful pasta & their garlic bread , artichokes & eggplant are unbefrickinglieveable. Eat here & you won't feel chubs.
One of the more popular Italian destinations uptown. The Columbia set has claimed it. Luckily there is indoor and outddor seating to try those rustic specialties. Family style dishes will please.
We loved this place. Good was good, service was exceptional, and the place is very friendly and welcoming. Best part was the coconut cake !
Tasty pasta options! Great for catching up with a group of friends or a cute date spot . Subtle ambient live music on a good night.
This is a neighborhood GEM on a quiet side street. Don't tell too many people. The food is amazing and the Penne Pisticci will change your life.
Brunch is great. the truffled eggs are delicious and light. Grapefruit martini is fantastic. For dinner , start with the vegetable ceci, then michael's pasta . The coconut cake is light & the best.
Excellent neighborhood Italian place - pastas , mains, wine . Lovely.
woah woah woah best spaghetti I've ever had. Perfectly al dente , perfectly sauced. You'll be tempted to order a double portion :0
My favorite Italian restaurant in the city - very authentic ! Get the eggplant as appetizer and the grilled salmon as main dish
Very tasty, cozy and casual Italian restaurant . Try the Fettucine Ai Funghi , the House Meatballs Over Polenta , or share La Spaghettata with a large group!
I highly recommend the Maltagliati with ricotta , spinach and lamb . The lamb ragu is just magnificent!
Amazing. The caprese salad was delicious. They make their mozzarella in house. The coconut cake was so yummy.

Admirable Italian restaurant hidden on the Columbia univ site. Very cozy . Perfect for dates. Classic Italian dishes . Sundays: Live Jazz band .
Craft brews are pretty good. I tried the lamb ragu with ricotta and spinach over flat pasta . Can't go wrong with that.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Best service I've ever had. Also, the food and drinks make this place a definite revisit.
hands down my fav Italian restaurant in the city . So cute 4 a date, a solococktail/dinner @the bar or a group dinner with friends. Get salad family style , strawberry basil martini & the namesake pasta

Great for lunch or dinner ! Pasta and paninis are on point ????????
The orecchiette with broccoli rabe and sausage dish is the best find in the culinary desert of Boringside Heights.
Try the Fig Salad - This is one of those dishes I associate with coming to NYC and thinking "this is why I wanted to live here"
Anything you get is delicious but spaghetti and meatballs is the best! Fettuccine al funghi as well is a winner :)

Authentic and well prepared food. First time I really appreciated pasta . No rush to kick us out and replace us with new customers. Tiramisu was not up to par with the rest. Sad way to end :/
