Huge huge gardens of the chateau de Versailles. Great pleasure to walk on a sunny day. In the summers the water fountains add to the majesty of the gardens . Enjoy boating in the lake .

There’s a restaurant beside the lake . They serve delicious margarita and french fries . The view is breathtaking!

Great for walks and jogs and lots of pictures! There are segways and bus , but I like the old traditional, romantic walk ????

Book online, take a guided tour , it is only €7 per person and you skip the long queue and get to see the king's private apartments ????????

Go with early. To have time to walk them. They are better than the chateu.

Was disappointed that fountains didn't work. The park itself is lovely with the exception of some creepy modern art that looks completely out of place. The park in Petergof is more impressive, i think

Come for fireworks in the evening

AVOID PETIT TRAIN DE VERSAILLES!!! Employees are violent with tourists !!! To buy the tickets you have to stay in the line with all people (even aged) .

It's huge. You can borrow bicycle or golf cart to see it.

Louis would not walk - rent a golf cart. Be like Louis.

A word of caution - most fountains work only for 2 hours on Saturday/Sunday.

Grab a cool drink and soak in the beauty. MUCH more enjoyable than the crowded , hot castle .

This garden is ridiculously large. Make sure you stick together, if u loose one another, chances are u WONT find them inside this place.

Gardens open on Mondays but not the Chateau.

Be prepared! The queue is very long! It's better to go before 9am
