Really great surprise when I was suddenly stuck in Huntsville for 7 hours (cancelled connection). Such an incredible place to visit. The size of the rockets is mind blowing!
Great place for people into space and rockets but plan on it being at least a 4-5 hour stay bc of the tours and a lot of ground to cover.
Always enjoy going during the themed artifacts at the museum . The exhibits are always wonderful and the scenic view is always nice to see as well . they also have movies showing and a gift shop .
The US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL contains a multitude of activities for all ages including interactive math and science exhibits , the Saturn V Museum , and the IMAX Theatre .
Unlike most museums , there's a good chunk of things to see that are outdoors. Don't come on a rainy or cold day!
Absolutely fantastic museum of space flight, the Apollo missions, Space Lab, ISS and exploratory missions. Spend an entire day here!!
A must see in Huntsville! Excellent collections of space and defense exhibits to keep you interested. IMAX Theater is also great.
Make sure you make it over to the Davidson Center and check out the Saturn V hall!
Awesome for kids. Come early in the day. it's hot!
See the movies first. Then take your time through the rest of the museum , Fantastic.

NASA’s 1st visitor center. Opened in 1970, it is home to space artifacts & hardware, historical documents, and interactive exhibits . Be sure to check out the Hubble film on the giant IMAX screen. Read more
Very informative with artifacts from space. Gives you a true sense of how big the rockets were.
Been coming here since I was a baby. Something new every year to explore and learn.
Home of A-12, serial number 60-6930. She used to have NASA markings on the Tail, similar to the YF-12 NASA flew, however NASA never flew the A-12. She now has the correct markings.
