Clean ! Can get very crowded , $6 to enter but worth it.
Actually a very nice stretch of sand and water. Expectedly packed on summer weekends, but perfect in the shoulder season and weekdays.
Try spicy and set up early! You have to walk to find the bathrooms and they are not convenient if you set up by game pier .
The boardwalk has lots of rides and games for people of all ages.
Prepare to have any cooler checked for booze upon entering the beach ...ugh.

5 bucks to get on the beach , season passes are 30 before memorial day, 35 after.
