monty’s breakfast sandwich is to-die-for, and chrisi is utterly delightful!!! the staff was so kind & welcoming that i decided to order dessert , and spend an entire morning there writing!

Favorite restaurant in Madison. There's usually a wait, but always worth it and service is fast. Wonderful healthy and veg/vegan options and a hip diner vibe. Fun colors and clean .

Great restaurant . Normally 30-45 minutes wait time to be seated. But definitely worth the wait. It's great for smaller groups or just a couple people. I have been there countless times and love it.

Trendy & polished greasy spoon. It confuses me in principle, but then I forget as soon as I start eating. Always give a serious consider to their daily special !

I had the slow roasted turkey club and it was to die for, so worth the mess it made! Want pie ? Excellent choice, eat it all!

Really nice diner fare .. With about half the menu for vegetarians . A separate menu covers vegans . Recommend: artichoke sandwich

Keep your eyes peeled for celebrities! I met Wee-Man from Jack Ass here. It's rumored that if celebrities visit Madison the may stop for a bite here. An employee here also told me this

Try the Meatless Meatloaf . It's AMAZING. This is coming from someone who usually eats meat. Also, try any of the cheesecakes . Doesn't matter which one, as they are all fantastic.

Pretty much everything is good here. Butterscotch shake is my favorite shake anywhere.

I inadvertently ate vegetarian here because it's really good quality, tasty, and happens to be veg heavy.

The blue plate omelet is great. Its what I get probably 75% of the time. Also, anything else that comes with their biscuits will be delicious. Guaranteed.

Has really decreased in quality over the years: smaller servings of food, stressed-out staff , and disappointingly cakey brownie .

The pesto and mushroom omelette is amazing. So are the eggs florentine . Homemade biscuits too. Mmmm
