There's actually a super cool albino alligator ! If you go when there is a dive show they are super interactive too.
We went for a small class on fishing and what kinds of fish is in our new state . Wonderful class lots to learn great conversation.
Great aquarium . Nice place to spend a couple of hours at. Make sure you stay around for the scuba divers swimming with the fish .
Exhibits , events , shows - my four year old enjoys the outside play structure but gets bored if we come here too often.
Small aquarium with good exhibits . Can get crowded so be patient.
If you took the ferry to get here, calculate your return trip carefully to avoid sitting for an hour in the ferry line ; spend the extra time in the lovely bird spotting garden outdoors at the end of t
Everything was amazing and the membership is a steal. Can't wait to go back!
Awesome array of underwater life. Hands on exhibits and great gift shop .

Really well constructed museum - beautiful and with lots of great exhibits
The turtles and snakes were surprisingly active. I could watch them all day long!
Be sure to check out the albino aquarium !
The butterfly bungalow was very cool and definitely worth the extra $3!
Good for a couple hours of cool air and edutainment. Ask about diving show .
Memberships are tax deductible and good for free admission at all aquariums and the NC Zoo
Go to the dive show and other talks--very interesting and enriching to the experience.
No tax in the gift shop . Reasonably priced too.
Great playground at the end and don't miss the fossil dig!
There is a fossil pit for the kids on the west side of parking lot . Fun but bring the bug spray for the mosquito farm
Can get very crowded during peak season weekends and rainy days.
Nice stuff food is expensive though. Pay to visit the butterfly garden
It's a bit remote, but it's nice and warm inside for cold days in the winter.
If planning to go be sure to first check online for what activities are happening and pre-book. They offer some cool extras like canoeing etc
Not big but a good relaxing place ti see some ocean life.
Be sure to take your photo with the green screen its awesome. Fun fun backgrounds

Excellent facility and very friendly staff
A nice aquarium , right on the beach !
Love taking my daughter during feeding time. Everyone seems so helpful & they are great with children!
Scouts and other groups can spend the night "Sleeping with the Fishes " We had a blast
Nice exhibits and not that expensive
Sadly we missed the Show, But touching sharks was great!
Lots of sea life and alligators
Animatronic dinosaurs outside in the gardens
Really cool! Including the diving show !
Great for my 2 year old !
Smaller than expected but nice
Love the Seahorses!
A fun time!
Don't step on the quail !
It’s great for little kids, they will be entertained for sure. Us adults were a little let down as we expected something much bigger, like aquarium sized, especially it being on the coast.
Be sure to check out feeding time in the big tank w/the scuba divers !
Great Place
love it here!
