Looking for a good place to run stairs ? Look no further as there are multiple areas where it takes 140+ steps to walk from the bottom of the park to the top.
Straddling Central Park , Columbia , & Central Harlem lies the perfect escape from other overrun parks nearby. Well maintained with a waterfall and duck pond with turtles & geese. Crowded on holidays.
This is a gorgeous park . However, it can be a bit shady if you are alone at night. People around here constantly warn you not to walk through the park at night, but I have never had a bad experience.
Go for a walk with your dog or have a barbecue with friend, and best of all, read by the lake when it's nice outside!
Check out the farmers market on Saturday morning. Go for a nice walk or run! Lovely views of buildings in the background while in this park .
First in a series of narrow, linear parks north of Central Park in Manhattan; once sketchy , now pleasantly leafy. Busy @ weekends. A very steep shortcut between Columbia University and Harlem proper.
There are 155 steps to climb to get to 113th Street and Morningside Drive from the bottom of the park . Why pay for a gym membership?
Morningside Park is beautiful in any season. Come during winter to sled down hills at 110th Street, 113th Street , or 122nd Street. Choose your favorite! Read more

Don't walk alone on the upper path between 116-118 without a dog. If you have a big dog, please walk there to keep the path safe.

Take the kids to the Duck Pond at Manhattan Ave .
