The Bier Stein

Whenever I'm back home in Eugene, this is my first and last stop of the trip (and usually a few stops in between). There isn't a better craft beer venue anywhere. Cheers!

The club sandwich was fantastic when washed down with some excellent Oktoberfest beer . Don't be discouraged by the crowd, everything comes out fast and the crowd adds to the friendly environment .

Gigantic selection of beers , if you're into that sort of thing. Also it's pretty cool to have the bar in the middle of the room.

Try the German sausage . And be sure to tip! The staff is awesome.

Try the Reuben here and if you're vegetarian , try it with tempeh . It's my favorite sandwich ... best in town !

If you can find a place in Oregon with a more unique selection of beers on tap , let me know. Frankly, I do not believe it's possible.

The much talked about and recommended beer cheese soup was very bland. The Mac and cheese they make with it was ok, but I wouldn't order either again.
