Built in 1866 as a private house and garden for financier James Austin. It’s now open to the public, and its Victorian and Edwardian gardens are not to be missed in the spring, summer and early fall.

No air conditioning and they don't open until noon. But the tour is delightful, the house beautiful, and the grounds exquisite.
