The food is great - Southern kitchen cuisine with fantastic shrimp and grits - and the desserts are by far the best in the area. The only thing holding this restaurant back is the service!

1940's decor with culinary creativity. The best Filet Mignon in town Menu items e.g.Annie Get Your Goat Salad ,& Dial "M" for meatloaf . You may have to wait, but it is worth it. Desserts are a WOW!

Meatloaf was incredible! Great service, solid drink and ambiance was cool. A top 5 in Raleigh for sure.

Was only there to pick up dessert , but the desserts are awesome. Don't let the line turn you away, it moves quickly. Boston Creme cake was delicious.

I had the tiramisu and my husband had the peanut butter mousse and chocolate brownie cake . Huge portions .  Definitely going back for more.  Absolutely delicious!

Awesome food, amazing dessert ! Small place so I'd say make a reservation , but it took them 30 minutes to seat our party even though we arrived on time for ours.

Always changing dessert menu-best selection of fresh made cakes and pies in the area bar none. Try the chocolate chip cookie dough if you see it!!! Bon Appetit!

The mussels are not bad but not great. The meatloaf my husband had was excellent & HUGE! For deserts we had coconut cake and lemon blueberry cake . Both were very good and not overwhelmingly sweet.

Best desserts in Raleigh. I will purposely skip out on other restaurant 's desserts and pick one up from Hayes Barton on the way home !

Have to get the Bogey Burger ! The freshest tomatoes ever, delicious cheese & chili make this burger unforgettable!

Probably the most impressive deserts I have ever seen! Food is great, check times before you go, as it is not always open.

Approximately $10 per cake but the slices are HUGE! If you want a delicious coconut cake , this is the place to go!
