Cold Spring Tavern

Love this place. Steeped in history and a cozy place to stop between SB and the valley. Venison burger and chili are decent options but you really are here for the atmosphere.

This hideaway is one of the best kept secrets in SoCal...an old stagecoach stop that has retained its rustic charm. Got here early and had the place to ourselves. The pork chops were amazing!

We really enjoyed the road to get there. The food was delicious. I recommend the chili ! There was a pretty long line up to eat and we felt like we were pushed out...but other than that...it's great!

Tri tip is phenomenal! French dip and tri tip sandwich both really good. Restaurant is reallllly rustic , like you stepped into a saloon in the old west.

Hidden gem , definite must go if in southern cal area. Best tri-tip sandwich and great bar drinks.

The chili was unbelievable. The regular one- cheese n onions n fuckin delicious. The cheeseburger was epic. It tasted like I made it myself. I didn't say a word the whole meal and that's rare lol.

Try the Chili Sampler! Great flavours, my favourite being the Chile Verde . Shame we couldn't visit on the weekend when they apparently have live music .

Loved the "hidden-secret" bohemian feel here and enjoyed learning about the history. Food was top-notch!

The meats are awesome, the beer cold and varied and scenery beautiful.

Sunday tri-tip sandwiches taste great but bring $. $9+ for sandwhich

The Elk Chops were very good, but the service was rushed and impersonal. The restaurant was very dirty . The soup may as well just been from a can. The historic aspect of the restaurant is nice though!
