Babi Guling Pak Dobiel

Most delicious lunch I have eaten in Bali. Very local food! U will feel a little bit confused when u come. They don't have menu. U just need take a sit and the staff will bring u soup and food.

Outrageously delicious. The takeaway queue can get a bit long but worth the wait. Get it spicy , if they ask.

As of May 2018, a set meal with soup (plus an order of fresh coconut drink ) costs a local Indonesian Rp 55k. I tagged along the order

The best babi guling so far. Spicy enough, skin with enough layer of fat. I can’t ask anything else.

if you are looking for babi guling (balinese style suckling pig ) then probably "pak dobiel" is one of the best

The pork dish here is a little more juicy than the rest. The owner himself serves the guests. Good place to go to around Nusa dua.

Price is whatever they want to charge you. Tourist definitely 50-60K. Local easily 20-25K. So ask local to buy on behalf.

Recommended!! Although a little bit expensive for only a tiny portion of Balinese Roast Pork …

Babi guling is nice... the pork soup which come with it is also nice.

Taste nice but I'll like it more if added more spices on it. Dont forget to try ayam betutu next door.

Don't let this stop you though, their roasted pork is the best. Be sure to ask for the soup as well .

They mark up the price to be whatever they want for tourists (Indo or otherwise) which is unfortunate. This wasn't the case 3 years ago but now they seem to be getting a bit greedy.

Two words: The. Best.

Beware of the pork meat that constitute of 90% fat and three matchstick size of actual meat, even when we ordered a portion of 'just meat'. Their pricing is also ridiculous for 'fat' guling dish.

Taste good, but beware of their "variable" pricing. As of this date, I was told 25K/portion is normal. I was charged 40K/portion. Prepare an exact change, they often "feel free" with the change.

I like Babi guling rahayu better. Here there is more white pepper taste but spicy sauce not spicy enough, the meat not as tender and skin not crunchy at all. Little disappointed.
