Black Bear Diner

Famous for the chicken fried steak . Easily 2 meals. The pancakes are amazing as well . The biscuit is as big as a 2 year olds head. Yummy home style food.

We came out to Black Bear Diner for dinner . We definitely had a different experience from our first visit. It wasn't necessarily one thing. It was our overall dining experience.

Good diner fare , nice sized portions for the money, and good service . A great place to bring the family. We were seated quickly but there was a wait list by the time we left.

The portions for my meal were pretty generous. Definitely come early before Sunday lunch rush. My family was lucky to get a table before the rush came.

Black Bear rocks. Always stop at the ones along I-5 and now have one close to home. Chicken fried steak and the cinnamon roll french toast are awesome.

Love It. Love everything about this place. You gotta try their hot chocolate .

Our first time eating at the Diner was in California...2nd time was federal way! And once again we LOVED the food and service!

Gotta get the bear claw and absolutely one of the massive biscuits with gravy !!!

A lot of things are excellent. Especially the turkey and dressing . And the country fried steak .

Never a problem here, until today :-(. I have a fatal mushroom allergy. I ordered the big burger & found numerous unadvertised mushrooms , AFTER eating several bites. They still charged full price :(

One of their biscuits is easily the same as two biscuits anywhere else, order accordingly!

This is the traditional(ish) diner I've been missing while living in San Diego

Fresh squeezed OJ is the best.

food was under cooked/raw meat. No one seemed to care and I got horrible service. Will never eat there again.

Hollendaise sauce is horrible but everything else was good!

this place is not the greatest... service sucks argued with us. the food was bland
