Enjoyed my WTM here. Noodles are finer than common ones, yet firm. Char siew (BBQ pork ) was yumz, super-caramelized. Wantans (dumplings ) were the high-class ones, with actual prawn pieces as fillings
Only 3 items on the menu, with their signature char siew & wanton noodle for $5. Long queue is expected during the weekend and they will inform you how many bowls left for sell.
Above average price, but above average char siew (charred, nice and fatty), noodles (light and springy) and wantons (really fresh and bouncy) too
It sells char siew wanton noodles . The noodle is imported from Hong Kong which is the QQ type. Char siew is well grilled and tender. Each wanton has meat, dried fish and a prawn . Overall it’s yummy.
Upsize you bowl if required. $1 for additional half portion of noodles , $2 for a full portion ; additional serving of char siew (BBQ pork ) is $2.50. Right bowl is upsized ????
Wantans (dumplings ) are sizeable. Each had actual prawn pieces as fillings, like the ones u get at dimsum restaurants
Chef Kang’s Noodle House was awarded a Bib Gourmand in The Michelin Guide Singapore 2019.
Note to self: Avoid Sunday lunchtime. Joined queue 11:50am. Finally sat down to eat 12:30pm. Lots of after-church diners adding to the wait time
This is not in the main Jackson Square building but a separate one to the left of Block A (when coming from the main road )
Worth the hype, char siew & noodles were excellent!
Each wantan noodle bowl comes with 2 wantans. Stall sells a separate bowl soup with 8 wantans for $5????????
A decent plate of HK styled wanton noodles similar in standard as those you find in a restaurant but at half the price. The soup is unique as it milky white. Wanton wasn’t tasty.
Watch out for closing times. While they close by 4pm (or when sold out) from Tue-Fri, they close earlier on weekends – 2pm
Char siew and wantons were good but overall plate didn't create any magic for me.
$5 more gets you quite a lot of shredded abalone

island’s most popular dishes—wanton mee
Old school mince pork noodle. Really good soup with handmade meatballs, a generous slice of braised mushroom and one fried wonton. Good value for money! Rare find these days! - May Quek
哨子面,肉夹馍,biangbiang面… - LC Wang
I tried the kimchi noodles becuz I’m a lover of spiciness. Love the light and chewy texture of the noodles. The duck confit was tender and well marinated. Highly recommend this place to noodle lovers! - ele
