Awesome architecture outside & inside. Very well curated collection of contemporary art . Only downside is the no photo of art policy. Quite surprising it applies even to their permanent exhibitions .
This is one of the best museums I've ever visited. It's organic , like an animal, and you travel inside it and flow through its architecture . Unforgettable experience.
A borderline religious experience for any architecture (Gehry 's masterpiece) or art lover (massive Serra collection, Koons, Warhol, etc). Takes at least 6 hours for the inside and outside.
The building is absolutely amazing, inside and out, and worth the price of admission itself, but aside from a couple paintings in the ‘masters’ room I have zero appreciation for the art though. ????
Beautiful building but aside from the incredible Serra’s , you are at the mercy of the special exhibits , wish there was more of a permanent collection to explore. PS Koons puppy needs to go.
World famous modern art museum . The outside is unique but go inside for €16 and watch black paint dry!
Designed by architect Frank Ghery, Guggenheim Bilbao has been hailed as “the greatest building of our time.” Explore all 24,000 square meters, of which 11,000 are dedicated to exhibition space.
Incredible space, a truly awe-inspiring building. Even if you're not a contemporary art aficionado, exploring this architectural masterpiece is a real treat
Everything you’ve heard is true. It is an obvious, mandatory stop in Bilbo, and for a reason, for it’s not common to see such a collection of masterpieces inside of a stunning marvel of architecture .
The most beautiful building I've ever seen - both inside and out. We saw some really stunning art . Was mostly empty at noon on a Thursday - what a dream. The bar serves great pintxos too.
Walk around the building, it's incredible from every angle. If you go inside, a word of warning for those afraid of heights!
A walk around the outside is a must. Free audio guides on the inside to complete the tour .
In the opening scenes of The World Is Not Enough (1999) we see establishing shots of the Guggenheim Museum as James Bond recovers $5m from "La Banque Suisse de L'Industrie" Read more
Wow. 7 hours later, blown away by both the indoors and outdoor art . Allot a full day for this one
.gorgeous art space. perfect source of inspiration. come early, when it's not crowded .
Amazing museum outside and inside loved the Chagall exhibit . Ticket are 13€ for adults but for student 7€ the gift store was reasonably priced
With visiting just to marvel at the architecture , exhibitions like any modern art museum are hit and miss
The museum building itself is impressive, especially the interior. The exhibitions were underwhelming. Buying the tickets online is a good idea.
ALL THE EXHIBITS, especially Serra . Make sure to get the audio tour and bring a pair of 3.5mm headphones. Buy tickets online prior too!
i think it was over-rated in terms of art ; however it has the best photographic spots in bilbao and i think it was wortj the visit.
Come here at 5 or 6 pm. It's not as crowded and you'll have three or two hours to enjoy this lovely museum .
Exterior and all sculpture around is a must and incredible, for inside exhibition , pls chk from location calendar to match your personal appreciation
This was the coolest museum I've ever been to! Always great exhibits and very cool giant puppy in the front made up of millions of flowers . Seen in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough
Very much worth a trip but the biggest attraction is the building itself and sculptures
Such an amazing building, inside as well as out. Your kids will grab the audio tour guides so get enough for everyone!
Stunning architecture by Frank Gehry with fascinating modern exhibitions inside. Love at first sight. Truly recommend.
Very interesting desing of Museum . Really different arhitecture. Worth a visit. But even more proper walk around
The museum building itself is a beautiful place to walk round and explore, from both inside and outside. The 5 metre tall flower dog outside is one of my favourite things on the planet (!!!) However, Read more
fantastic museum . all the exhibits on display when we visited were outstanding
A museum to must visit. Beautiful architecture and space management inside. The free audio guide was very useful.
Modern art , always great exhibitions . The architecture of the building. Must visit in Bilbao
If you are short on cash you can try and take an audio guide for free. The deposit box is just after the entrance at your left side. Search one that is your language by pressing play.
Worth the Trip to Bilbao: not for the exhibitions but for the building and how it transformed that part of the city .
One of my favorite museums , and not only for the building. The collections were fantastic and the outdoor installments make for great photos.
One of the most amazing museums I've been. Incredible space, fascinating art , rgeous exhibition of Antoni Tápies. And the Puppy, of course!
It is not allowed to take pictures or film inside. Even on a smartphone and without flashlight.
Definitely worth a visit! However, I was more impressed with the museum itself than the art .
Great museum ! The building itself is very impressive and the permanent collection is breath taking.
Most extraordinary building I’ve ever visited. Great temporary exhibition from Jenny Holzer!
English tour of the museum available at 17:15. Arrive 30 minutes prior to reserve your place - this comes with the standard ticket purchase
Fantastic museum . Extremely inspiring architecture . Great permanent exhibition . Do not miss the introduction to this place on your audio guide.
This place is amazing! Beautiful architecture , incredible works of art and bubbles by Anish Kapour, what else could you want? Oh, and did I mention sunshine :)
Gehry 's building is a work of art in itself, but the exhibitions inside are absolutely worth a look: I saw Cai Guo-Qiang's incredible retrospective here in 2010.
The only thing it worths the visit is the building..and I am an art historian! Big delusion!
No surprise. The building is better than the art inside.
One of the most beautifully museums I've seen! Really accessible art , in a magnificent building!
Nice place for contemporary arts and the likes. Students get to avail 50% discount after presenting valid student id and audio guide is free.
Don't expect 30minutes to walk around , there r so much more interesting construction / statue and bridge around , you will luv it
A magnificent place. Architecture , sculpture , all very inspiring.
Amazing museum with lots of pop art . Worth the wait to go here. Sculptures impressive.
not as big as the pictures but definitely worthy of seeing - Shannon Pants
Great value for money and impeccably prepared savory bites like sandwiches and empanadas. A credit to the museum. - Kenneth Tiong
Wonderful collection of mostly Spanish art. Worth the admission fee. Come in the afternoon on a weekday and it's like a private viewing. - Chris Chen
Friendly staff, they can help you in English. The new interactive section is very nice. We even got a little tour in the extra hall in progress with someone of the reception. Very kind of him. - Schevernels Werner
Sala de exposiciones de la Diputación Foral de Bizkaia - Javier Marcos
Get the three course meal here ! It is a great value with a glass of wine and the dessert is phenomenal ! - Tsering
