Assistens Kirkegård

A park what is a cemetery - and the other way around. You will see people picknicking between legends as Niels Bohr, Søren Kirkegard and Hans Christian Andersen .

It's filled with trees making it a beautiful place to take in the fall colors as you walk around and study the tombstones of the notable Danes buried there (including Hans Christian Andersen ).

Aside from being wonderfully peaceful and the resting place of HC Anderson, you may catch sight of some red squirrels as well .

Best melding of a park and graveyard ever. Downside: impossible to find a way out.

Not a regular cemetery . Also a beatiful park where mothers stroll with their children between the graves. An experience for foreigners!

Atmosfæren er rolig selvom kirkegården ligger i et travlt miljø. Der er masser af flot natur man kan give sig tid til at kigge på. Man kan også hygge sig på en plads i solen. Mulighederne er mange ☺️
