Mount Si Summit

Reached the summit and then climbed up the rock stairs. Took the path to the right leading to just below the scramble. The Pay Off: 2 benches , a great view , and a meadow great for eating lunch .

Only the view from top is nice. Otherwise there's no change of scenery in the entire hike . No streams, creeks, mini waterfalls etc. It is monotonous. Not worth it for me.

The hike is the fun part. The view isn't breath taking, so don't expect some pot of gold at the end. It's more for the experience and bragging rights. Don't stop.

8 miles round trip. Not a difficult hike but not for the lighthearted either. Spectacular views . Bring water and snacks !

The scramble up Haystack to the peak is a little sketchy , but very do-able

Just make it here and it will all be worth it!

Everyone should do this. Amazing trail .
