One of the best museums I've ever been to. It is art itself. Take the train , walk 10mins and enjoy modern art right by the stormy sea (yes, panorama view included).

Best museum I've ever been to. Located close to an idyllic lake and the sea, the museum leads you round a path of Modern art . The one hour trip from Copenhagen is more than worth it.

Possibly the most beautiful museum in the world. The outdoors are breathtaking, the permanent collection of great interest, temporary exhibitions well curated. Not to be missed when in CPH.

An absolute must when visiting Copenhagen. Stunning grounds, thoughtful exhibitions and high quality collection. Queues to buy tickets can be long at the weekend so go for a train/admission combo.

The museum itself is solid, but the park grounds spotted with sculptures overlooking the sea and Sweden are fantastic. The cafe has good food and beer/wine you can drink on the patio with views .

Wonderful. Had a lot of fun! Tip: take a walk outside, the beautiful park rewards with its secrets.

One of the most beautiful museum with loads to explore

This is a museum I want to visit every year or two. I like going there in autumns; it’s still warm and as it gets darker in the evenings you can walk in the park and look into the lit up museum .

This was the highlight of my trip to Copenhagen. Amazing art and views . Buy a combined train and museum ticket from the lost and found counter at the Main Train station . Saves time and money.

Gorgeous building in an equally gorgeous setting (right by the sea - overlooking a sculpture garden ). Great permanent collection. Well curated and thoughtfully laid out.

Wonderful modern art museum and perfect location. They have a great permanent exhibition and the gift shop has a lot of good designer stuff, clothes , books , prints and toys and gadgets.

Under construction at the moment. Impressive outdoor installations esp the Serra, Dan Graham and Calders. Not sure I would say this is a must see but if you have extra time, it’s a good option.

There’s a free web audio guide about the history and architecture of the museum , as well as for the sculptures/grounds. Scan a QR code on signs throughout the museum for a link (or ask someone!).

A beautiful art museum where you can spend the entire day at. They even have one of Yayoi Kusama's pieces there.

Daft price taxi to get there from city centre and back but worth every penny. The special exhibitions as well as the rest of the gallery are great to stimulate all senses. Great setting. A must.

Favorite museum ever. Most stunning sculpture garden with terrific free audio tour on website. Views water across to Sweden . Next time will get the discount train-museum ticket through DSM.

I really enjoyed my visit here. Beautiful views (you can see Sweden even on rainy days). You might want to avoid weekends. Don’t forget to buy a DSB combined ticket (as of 2019 -210DKK train included)

This museum is just perfect ???? building, yard, expositions , panoramic view , even museum shop is beautiful ???? Kusama’s permanent installation “gleaming lights of the souls” is absolutely must see ????❤️

If you have the time, bike here from CPH. It's 37 km of some of the prettiest biking in Denmark. Small rolling hills in a forest mix with the coast. Then take the train back with your bike !

Take a round ticket including the entry (cheaper). A must see: great architecture in a peaceful environment . Great view over the sea and great collection. Fantastic jorn and Pollock temp. exhibition .

The museum is open late so you can still have a half day (or more!) in Copenhagen and be able to catch a train and see everything before closing. Exhibits always seem provocative--highly recommended!

Great museum , the main temporary exhibition is usually very extensive and impressive, depending on your taste of course, it can be very busy and is best to visit in quieter hours if possible.

Such a fun day outdoors, you can spend hours exploring and looking out. The indoors pales in comparison.

Despite being around 30-40 min train ride from city centre, this is a world-class contemporary art museum . Comprehensive collection, excellent views if you want to take a break and a large gift store .

Make sure you go there when sun is shining, as it is so nice to sit outside in addition to the amazing art hidden inside.

Danmark's best museum og modern art . And the surroundings at the ocean are unbeatable. Remember to try the lunch or hot chocolate at the restaurant . They also stage high quality piano concerts .

Amazing museum . There was a Picasso exhibition when I visited which was awesome. The sculpture garden is splendid !

if you are hungry, go for the "all-you-can-eat" buffet in their cafe . it costs 120 and you can choose from a variety of delicius meats, salads , sidedishes and soups . then take a nap on the beach

great exposition on the conquest of the arctic going on right now. go out to to the open air statue quarter and enjoy an amazing view on the coastline of sweden .

One of the most beautiful museums in the world as far as the grounds go. Make sure to try the 3 story outdoor slide out back by the pond !

In my opinion the greatest Art museum in the nordic countries , perhaps one the best in the world.

Garden is great om Sunny Days. Restaurant is good with reasonable prices. Don't forget to visit the shop in the basement for sine unique souvenirs.
