Any reason for calling it fish market ? More like a junk/flea market . Fish rolls with salmon or Matjes are very delicious and a must try. Go at 9am to catch bargains when the market closes at 9:30am.
A place you should never miss if you are in HH. You can buy a lot of cheap fish , fruits , cheese with only 10 € each, even flowers ????. Don't miss the show they made when when they try to sell the stuff.
Pretty much the happiest place in the world... Roll in drunk at 5am on a Sunday morning after a night on the Reeperbahn, grab a beer and sing along to the live bands playing classic covers.
Dock market , loud , packed, with music and shows. Only sunday morning . If lucky, one can see a beautiful sun dawning over Hamburg.
Authentic experience - meet your Hamburg locals here. Great atmosphere and great food at a much lower price than supermarkets
The few fish stands looked quite fresh and the fruit/vegetables looked good too. But they were overshadowed by the cheap clothing and trinkets. Also 90% of the ppl were over 50 and were tourists !
Go early Sunday (05-09:30) to watch the cocky salesmen and women banter with the crowd of locals, tourists and still partying drunks
Always like to come back here for a legendary Hamburg Sunday morning . Visitors should experience it while staying on a weekend.
One thing you should really do in Hamburg. Go there on Sunday morning from 5-6 am.
If you're sleepyhead like me, but wanna taste fresh seafood here, there are a lot of great restaurants around, cooking fish that bought at morning market . Delicious!
Well , you haven't been to Hamburg is you haven't been here in the early hours of an Sunday morning ....preferably after a glass or two of wine ????????
Eat a fish sandwhich or frikadelle and franzbrotchen! Have a look at the many stands selling fruit , vege , flowers , fish , meat, cheese etc.
One must wander in to the heart of the market to get the full experience. The live band never disappoints...
Perfect to eat some fresh fish sandwiches , fruts... coming home from Uebel & Gefährlich, when the sun rises... ❤
Get some fresh Fries or vegan Gözleme (Turkish pancakes ) on Thursdays.
Not just a market - an experience! One of the absolute highlights in Hamburg.
Don't forget to stop in the hall afterwards for some live music !
All the menu is delicious
Fresh seafood and live music but be early cuz the market close at 10am
awesome place with great deals for foodTotally recomend!
Open: April-October, Sunday 5:00-9:30 o'clock, November-March, Sunday 7:00-9:30 o'clock
Fish sandwiches , coffee & donuts ????????????
Great experience. Relaxing. Fun. Lazy.
Worst place in Hamburg. Only tourists and idiots shouting and trying to sell low quality produce. Absolutely not worth getting up for. If you want fish and real "Fischbrötchen" go to the docks instead
Lovely aura
Winter season from 7 to 9:-)
A must see

Nothing. Most expensive beer ever!
Grandios!
Einfach klasse. Ich Liebe den Hamburger Fischmarkt. ❤❤❤❤????????????
Bekanntester Fischmarkt in Deutschland.
Beer shop with a good selection of different beers. - Florian B.
Great fish counter. With so many selection of oh-so-fresh seafood, you can take your pick and have them cooked for EUR5 per dish. This was one of the best meal of our trip. Wished we had eaten more. - A S
