Italian beef is best in the region. This South Loop location is mobbed at lunch time, making it a risky pick if someone back at the office is monitoring how long you're at lunch .

I got the Beef and Cheddar sandwich in a grilled croissant with spicy peppers , ribs , fries , and onion rings . It was great! Great help from the friendly and energetic staff , too! Fun place to go!

The Italian Beef and Maxwell Street Polish are both excellent. Great food, reasonable prices, and friendly waitstaff make this a winner in my book .

The have the best hot dogs and Italian beef in Chicago! If you are from out of town and you love hot dogs a visit to Portillos is a must!

I liked my burger and fries . It was juicy and aell cooked.

You must have the Maxwell Street Polish or the Combo Italian Beef and Sausage and the lemon or chocolate cake for dessert

Italian beef is better than Al's beef . Must try the chocolate cake !

I had the Big Beef - Dry. It was really good with hot peppers

After many rounds of testing, I’ve concluded that a double dipped beef is a bit too soggy; Extra Gravy is the way to go.

This is the slowest, least efficient Portillo's in the entire state . That being said, it's still Portillo's so you know it's ????????????

You’ve got to order your food on the app and pick it up; the line inside is only slightly less of a nightmare than the drive-thru.

Was desperate to come back here after like 5 years. Had Chicago dog and an Italian beef . So fantastic

Chocolate cake only...they have changed. Fish sandwich is over cooked and burgers and fries are not the same

My sandwich was suppose to be a grilled chicken sandwich but it mainly was a mayonnaise sandwich with a burnt piece of chicken . Thank God this is not a normal thing for them.
