Enjoy the ride and the view . This is one of the precious few places where LA residents experience mass transit up close and personal. But without the glorious aromas and knife wielding transients.
loved the ride up! it felt like we were being transported into another world
Make sure not to hold the doors open. They will yell at you for doing that and be sure to check out the sculpture garden . There's a Joan miro!
The fastest way to take you from the parking lot to the top of the hill .. Free of charge !!
Beautiful views the entire way. The ride also goes by pretty fast which is nice. Did not feel too crowded either which is nice with COVID.
Almost as slow as the 405 next door. Take the shuttle bus down the hill .
Beat the wait and just walk up and down to better enjoy the view .
Walk past the crowd herding into the tram line and check out the sculpture garden on the other side of the wall
If you're looking for a little exercise, or the lines are foreboding, you can always walk up the hill !
Can be busy on holiday weekends.
All computer operated- super easy ride
Love the views from the windows.
Fast and efficient.
Cool tram !
The most glorious part of sitting in traffic for three hours is finally sitting on the tram .
If you weigh above 15 stone. The walk isn't for you...
Great place for all family
Be sure to eat in the Cafe. Food is amazing and very cheap. Portion size is great, you will not leave hungry. - Chris Edwards
Beautiful and lush garden to stroll along. During the summer the Getty is open late for concerts and it’s a nice change to walk around the garden at night. - Michael Morgan
